You-tubing

I am getting nocturnal lately, because this is when I can spend the time on my own. Spending the whole night listening to songs sang by singers who get famous on You tube, oh good life! This 11 year-old Maddi Jane is totally insane, little girl with big voice (plus sweet smile). Try you-tube her =)

Magazined

Sometimes,I wonder why people are willing to spend double the price of a local magazine to buy a magazine published by other countries. Most of the time, the fashion items featured in the magazine are not available in Malaysia. I hate the you-like-the thing-and- it's- totally-affordable-but-you-can't-get-it-here feeling. However, after reading 2 copies of UK Glamour, now, I understand ( thank god, I bought that 2 copies =p).

The contents are way way better than local's. They have better fashion ideas, great articles and less ads!! Just one copy can keep me occupied for at least 1- 2 hours, this is not going to happen if I were to read a local magazine. Malaysian magazines can have the same cover, same name, but definitely not the same contents. I am so going to ditch classifieds-ish CLEO, Female, Her world, Women Weekly, etc (but not Glam and Bazaar, at least they have great photos). So, get yourself a UK/AUS/US fashion magazine today!

Jay Chou in action

Last tuesday, the boyfriend and I went to KL Sentral for train. In a hurry, we saw bright lights and crowd near Mc Donald's. Despite the fact that we were about to miss our train, we joined the crowd and kepo-ing to see what's happening (typical Malaysian =p). To our surprise, the "Against War" filming crew was shooting a scene at KTM station. And the next thing we did (almost immediately) was looking for dashing Nicholas Tse and Jay Chou. Sadly, no trace of them was found. So, we proceeded to train passenger waiting area.

While waiting for the train, we got the chance to see the scene being shot. One botak man first came into view, followed by a taller man in blue shirt (The boyfriend could recognise the botak man but we have no idea who's the guy in blue shirt) carrying a school girl (the famous young Malaysian actress), and that's all. We were quite disappointed for not able to catch a glance at either Jay or Nicholas.

The next day, after reading the newspaper, I shouted "OMG" incessantly. The man in blue was actually the famous Taiwanese singer/musician/actor we were looking for -JAY CHOU!!! So it's true that the old adage which goes 'Appreciate and celebrate what is right in front of you"
, hahaha.

The last breakfast

These are some old photos which should be uploaded earlier. Our last breakfast at Kelantan before we bid farewell to each other. We had dim sum buffet at Grand River View Hotel, which was said far better than Renaissance's. Coincidentally, we met another group of friends at there, and had a group photo =)

We makan like express bus (non-stop except for toilet), haha. The banana fritters were nice!

I think we finished off >50% of the dim sum made on that day.

Let's go island!

Do you still play arcade games? Or do you even know the existence of it? I still remember, when I was a kid, my favorite place in the shopping mall would be the mini amusement park with rows of arcade game machines. These token operated machines were like mini heaven for me, I can go on a jungle adventure to play Climb-the-rope game, then to the seaside for Croc-hunting game which I smacked the crocodiles insanely with my other cousins...Oh,good old days!

I guess it's true when people say, "When you get older, you star
t to behave like a kid again". After so many years of not playing arcade games, I started to play it again recently. The first time, the boyfriend and I played a two-men-army-shoot-down-your-enemies game a few months ago. It felt good to shoot bad people in first person gun shooting game, it made me think I was saving the world, LOL. Every time I want to hide myself from the enemy, my body reflexly move to the same side, and I was being laughed at by the boyfriend for quite some time.

That day, at Queensbay mall, the boyfriend and I saw a couple playing this Let's Go Island 3D game (exactly the same as shown in the picture above). Due to such abundant of free time after Pro 3 exam =p, we stop and watched them play (all the octopus, ugly fish, weird sea creatures-shooting), I instantly fell in love with the game. Big screen, yes; simple instructions, yes; colourful images, yes and moving seats to simulate sea with waves ,big yes! The next thing I knew,I was sitting in front of the big screen, play and...and... lost the game. So, all I can do was watching the boyfriend to play the rest of the game, and oooh-ing, aaah-ing. It was fun, though =)
